THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
In 1989, Carol combined her knack of management with her passion for design to create an interior architecture firm that offers exceptional design with unparalleled customer service. Thanks to the loyalty of clients who continue to follow Carol through the years, Eighth Day Design competes with some of the top design firms in the industry.
Carol is a licensed interior designer in Washington, D.C. and is board certified by the National Committee for Interior Design Qualifications. In 2018, Carol was presented with the President’s Award by the Women’s Presidents’ Educational Organization for her key role in the Women President’s Educational Organization Sage Advice program.
Olek is a skilled interior designer with experienced knowledge of cutting-edge software used in the architecture industry. He integrates design with technology to deliver “only the best” for clients.
As a co-founder of Eighth Day Design, Olek has worked diligently to keep EDD a top competitor against local and national firms, winning bids from large corporate and government clients. Olek continues to play an active role in every project, providing his valuable expertise. Olek is a licensed interior designer in Washington, D.C. and a LEED accredited professional.
Lisa brings over 25 years of commercial and government interior design experience to EDD. Her ability to coordinate the multiple facets involved with project execution while maintaining a dedicated professionalism, truly sets her apart.
Lisa is a licensed interior designer in Washington, D.C. and is board certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. She is a LEED accredited professional and is actively involved in the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
Pedro has over 27 years of corporate design and facilities management experience, working on both small and large scale projects that require varying scopes of involvement. His experience and leadership skills include his oversight of Designers and Architects, as well as managing a team of facility management consultants.
Pedro is a licensed interior designer in Washington, D.C. and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. He is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and a LEED accredited professional.
Michael has over 15 years of experience in Facilities Management and Integrated Workspace Management Systems (IWMS) software, and over 30 years of experience in the architecture and engineering fields. Michael leads the IWMS team and oversees dozens of projects across the nation, including government agencies, manufacturing companies, bio-pharmaceutical organizations, foundations, and higher education campuses.
