With the first phase of a multi-year, six-phase, 74,000 sf modernization complete, EDD is helping HHMI realize their vision for a light filled and fresh new work environment.
Recognizing that the original design of private offices is functionally still what worked best for most of the employees, the renovation focused on finishes, furniture, and new energy efficient lighting. Where possible, collaboration areas for four to eight people replaced individual and shared offices. Glazing replaced drywall walls at Huddle Rooms, Conference Rooms, private offices and the IT Help Desk.
A focus on Diversity and Inclusion will drive additional new space types as the modernization continues.
